Meet The Team
"As a Journalist, Blogger, Masters student and mother (of two dogs!) life can get busy sometimes. Trying to cook between lectures, assignments and work can be difficult. Creating the D U Love Food society helped me overcome many of these problems - both for myself and for others.
Now, as a community, we learn how to cook together, where to buy food, and (perhaps most importantly) where to go out for dinner on a budget!"

“Cooking has always been my cup of tea. I began cooking when I was eleven years old and since then there hasn’t been a day that I have stopped cooking.
According to me, true happiness is when someone enjoys your food. But I felt I could do more, that it was not enough, and when my squad suggested I begin teaching for ‘D U Love Food’ no was not an option.”

“This is the first time I am living alone, in a foreign country with a not-so-familiar culture. The first two months were amazing, I enjoyed the different types of cuisines but soon I began to miss home and my craving for spice began, soon I realized if I keep spending money the way I was I would be broke before the semester ends. So my friends decided to help me on this issue and since this was a common problem found among the students our group decided to create this association with the help of the university for all the students trying to manage their budget and enjoy their time in Ireland.”

“I am a person who likes to stay in my comfort zone and ‘ takeaways’ has always been my forte. But it was really hard to find cheap and good takeaways until we started to pool our ideas and knowledge in the D U Love Food Society. Now, not only I know where to buy food from but also can make easy and delicious food.”

“I have done my undergrad in Trinity and currently I am pursuing my masters in Trinity. I stay in the college accommodation so I guess it’s safe to say that Trinity is my second home!
I have to thank D U Love Food Society for all these amazing years. not only did I get to share my knowledge but also got to learn so much about Dublin and food. I had great craic, couldn’t ask for more.”
