Sunday Budget Brunch at San Lorenzo

So fancy you have to book through an app, phone call or email to make a reservation. So cheap you can actually eat there.

San Lorenzo is a modern Italian restaurant on George Street, near Temple Bar and only a ten minute walk from Trinity. Their Weekend brunch is, well, kind of a big deal.

Brunch of Champions

Son Lorenzo's Brunch of Champions is a must try! Only available on weekends, it's a win for anyone wanting to socialize and enjoy the happening atmosphere.

Their website lets you know this isn't a quiet relaxing place: there's a sitting time total of one hour and fifteen minutes and a disclaimer that the music is LOUD, so you'll be in, eating, and out before you know it.

When my cousin was visiting Dublin, San Lorenzo was number one on her to do list. We arrived at half past eleven and the ambience was pleasing! All the dishes were tempting and it was difficult for us to select which dish to go for.

Since it was brunch time and we were hungry we decided to take two meals and share them. I went for the Goats Cheese Toast while my sister selected the Coco Pops Crunchy French Toast as to satisfy both our sweet and savory needs!

We also decided to go for some refreshing herbal tea.

When split the bill came up to €30. It wasn't cheap, sure, but I got to try two dishes, drink tea, and the good was amazing. Both dishes were outstanding! For a special once in a while treat, it's doable.

In fact, the food was so good that my cousin said she would like to revisit Dublin - just so she could try out the other dishes at San Lorenzo.
